Happy Foodie Friday!!!! This dish is dressed up with somewhere to go….my stomach lol! Last week The Mister got back in the cooking game and made me one of his single man go to meals, Chicken Bow Tie Pasta (the fancy pinky version). I’m here to give all the details of what all went into this lovely creation.
The list of ingredients is super simple: 1lb bow tie pasta, 1lb of chicken breast, 1 jar of alfredo cream sauce, two 14oz cans of organic diced tomatos, 1 pint of cherry tomatos, and fresh basil.
All he did to make this was cook the chicken and pasta separately per the instructions. Then he roasted the cherry tomatoes in the oven at 450 for about 12 mins. Once all that was complete he cut up the chicken and mixed all ingredients together in a glass baking pan and baked at 350 for about 10 mins. His finishing touch was chopped basil on top.
I must say this dish was easy to enjoy! It makes a number of helpings which we have been eating on all week lol!! My favorite thing was the pop of an acidic cherry tomato mixed with the creamy rich alfredo. It’s just asking to be devoured.
