Happy Foodie Friday!!! Tonight’s dinner is a delicious chili 😋. I’m low key mad cause it’s not even cold outside, but whatever this one gives you a happy case of meat sweats 😂 jk jk.
I found the recipe compliments of Paleo Running Momma. What I most enjoy about this dish is the heartiness. Most of the time when I have chili, I like how filling it is, but I know that’s partly to do with the beans put in chili dishes and I actually don’t care for beans in my chili 😱.
This recipe incorporates yummy sweat potato which gives it a nice hit of coolness on the palate. The avocado is also a nice addition to give that dose of heathy fat and really fill you up. The heat is a step above mild so my mouth isn’t on fire and I can appreciate the spices.
I made mine with beef chorizo and substituted bacon with turkey bacon since my hubby doesn’t eat pork. It still tastes AMAZING! I’m on my second bowl right now lol. I certainly recommend this dish to give a whirl! Anyway, less talk, more eat!
