Happy Foodie Friday!! This Friday’s meal is certainly a treat! Can’t wait to dig into this scrumptious chicken dish. Shall we 😏
I am a huge fan of all types of Asian cuisine. It’s been a challenge to find good recipes when it comes to sesame chicken because I am not naturally handy when it comes to frying chicken. In fact, I can count on my hand the very very few times I’ve even attempted to fry chicken.
This recipe is courtesy of Kitchen Sanctuary. I definitely put elbow grease into dinner, but the payoff was sooooo worth it in the end. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! I didn’t even think I did that well and somehow it still turned out really great!
The chicken has a nice sweet and tangy juxtaposition. My favorite thing is the stickiness of it all! And then a few pops of sesame seeds with chives and you’re talking ‘bout a very nice bite. I paired ours with brown rice instead of white and it still came out on top 🙌🏾.
This recipe was a win for sure! Hubby enjoyed so much he wants it added in the meal rotation lol. I truly don’t know about that because frying chicken is like a whole project, but if I can get it to do this every time at least, maybe it’s worth the hassle. Hope you’ll give it a go!
Til next time, happy eating!!
