Yep, you read that correctly! Happy Foodie Friday to all my butter lovers out there! I found this recipe online and it did not disappoint. Plates so clean they look unused lol!
It starts with a fresh piece of Atlantic Salmon baked alongside a 4 tablespoon cut of butter and some fresh herbs (I chose parsley and chives). For simplicity sake I added roasted asparagus with a squeeze of lemon. As a refreshing pallet cleanser (and because they are so darn cute) I adorned my dish with star fruit. These little guys taste like a cross between grapes and apples.
Happy to say this is a Hubby approved dish. ‘Til next week!!!
This is the first time I’ve thrown together a soup and I’m souper proud of how it came out lol. I LOVE soup!! Me and soup be like…well we would be bffs if it was a human. My hubby doesn’t understand my soup obsessions either. I eat soup in ALL seasons. Don’t sleep on some good soup (#Amys).
This dish is full of flavor. It took an hour to make, but it’s worth it for that reason. Broth to veggies and meat ratio is crucial when making a hearty bowl o goodness. Dare I say everything outside of the title helped bring this recipe home; the carrots (to which I used a colorful medley of purple and white carrots, not just orange). Plenty of shallots, a #dab of garlic powder, and a fresh chop of red bell pepper.

Happy Foodie Friday!!! My hubs came out of retirement to make me dinner this go around. He chose a Lemon Butter Chicken Pasta.
It really tasted as good as it sounds! The tangy acid from the lemons gives a beautiful pop of zest. Juicy pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked pasta, and a hint of spice make this dish sing. I was really surprised at the depth of flavor. He gets a double thumbs up. I put the recipe link above if you’d like to try it out sometime.

This dish is as fun to eat as it is to say LOL! Steak, YES!…..Egg YES!….Mushrooms….YES, YES, YES!!! Another Hello Fresh masterpiece. Tender steak over a bed of crunchy veggies and rice. Then just a dab of sriracha to top it off. And I have to say, all this time I have been trying to figure out what to do with the whites of scallions. Duh! Pickle them in some vinegar LOL! Get the recipe and try it for yourself 🙂
Thanks to Hello Fresh, this was one of my first attempts at making a Greek dish. I have to say for a first timer, this one came out very nice! Succulent shrimp, lightly spiced tomato marinara, tangy feta, and earthy parsley. These bowls were empty! Try the recipe out for yourself! You won’t be disappointed.
A truly delightful meal compliments of Hello Fresh! Made this on Friday and it is certainly a win! Tender and crunchy baked parmesan chicken with tangy balsamic potatoes. Also paired with a nice pop of juicy garlic tomatoes. Added a fresh arugula salad to finish it off. Can you say YUM! This recipe is waiting for you to try it!
You would think in this type of dish the star would be the steak. And while the steak was AMAZING, the broccoli actually stole the show (recipe here). It maintains its earthy tone while the parmesan adds a nice hint of sharpness. Pair with a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and you’re all set for an evening of foodie fun!
I’m glad you asked. Foodie Friday is something hubby and I started doing when we got married. It is how we chose to fulfill Ecclesiastes 2:24.
