It seems like only yesterday I was holding my little Jai Bird as a bundle in my arms. What happened to that tiny human who was more content to sit in my lap as a baby??
She has changed a lot in a good way. On the daily, I feel like Iโm experiencing a petite human rainbow child. Jai Bird has the nerve to vividly stand out against the backdrop of life. She rarely shirks from a challenge, is a copious risk taker, and has little problem being direct about who she is or what she wants.
In order to celebrate all things her, we decided to throw a bright colorful rainbow party at Lone Star Gymnastics for her birthday ๐
I may have went a little ham on the rainbow theme ๐ค I got rainbow plates, a rainbow sprinkle cake from Susie Cake, rainbow treat bags, rainbow cloud balloons, and her very own rainbow leotard.

As soon as we arrived she hurled off towards the sizable open area with all the bigger equipment! Her gymnastics class meets in the smaller pint sized room split off from the main action. She had been wanting to get over to the other side for quite some time and finally got her chance lol. She flipped, rolled, and swung to her little hearts content.

Completely unafraid, I think she might have worn the equipment out ๐ It wasnโt ready.

The only break the equipment got was when we reigned her and the other family and friends in for pizza and cake. We sang a big happy birthday to which she was all smiles.
And then like a bolt of lightning she was off again back on the open floor giving it a run for its money ๐

My little gal lives with zero regrets. I truly enjoy watching the way she colors her world, leaving nothing hanging in the balance. Hereโs to 4 and may you leave a trail of rainbows everywhere you go ๐๐พ
