I am a huge fan of doing things here and there to treat myself. It could be anything from getting a mani pedi, reading while sipping some bomb tea, or one of my favorites, getting a massage! I just found out about this wonderful masseuse in my local city so of course I’m going to brag on her 😊. Welcome to my first experience at Pressed Massage Therapy.Continue reading “Treat Yo Self: Pressed Massage Therapy”

Check out our midday lunch date escape.Continue reading “A Wicked Good Time”
Birthdays, Mardi Gras Balls, and Sky Falls
Oh how much I love a good hiatus! Enjoying these pauses and waiting to blog until I have something to say has truly made life MUCH simpler. Bday Downtime At Woodhouse Day Spa

A Very Merry Medieval Birthday
Every year for my birthday since I’ve been an adult, I’ve tried to celebrate it as much as humanly possible. I didn’t celebrate birthday’s growing up so I consider my special day as making up for lost time. I’ve generally enjoyed the medieval era as a kid. Whenever I would see the Medieval Times commercials I would tell myself, one day I’m going! And for my birthday this year, that’s just what we did!Continue reading “A Very Merry Medieval Birthday”
Dallas Date Night: Royal 38

Welcome To Lockwood
My husband has been raving about Lockwood for weeks now. It’s not just a new bar addition to the Magnolia street strip here in Fort Worth, they are a full on distillery with their own line of liquors! The drink options are as unique and inviting as the atmosphere. I’m sure this will be added to our date night go to’s rotation. Here’s my first experience at Lockwood 😁Continue reading “Welcome To Lockwood”
Who Is Lou?
Have you met this guy? If not, he goes by the name Lou Charles. He’s a Fort Worth based rapper that the mister and I met several years ago while checking out local talent at the back then venue called Live Oak. From the jump Lou has shown some crazy charisma in his artistry so when he hosted this last Louapalooza as usual, we had a blast!Continue reading “Who Is Lou?”
Magic On Magnolia
I like magic…and it’s not just because I’m black lol! Magic is a glimpse into the realm of wonderment. It gives me the chance to not know it all and be pleasantly surprised (something that if ya know me is quite hard to do). But all jokes aside, this local experience really takes the cake.Continue reading “Magic On Magnolia”
A Virtual Birthday At Neon Noir
For the misters birthday I always try to find something adventurous to do. This year was no different. He had been talking about buying a PlayStation VR console (so ‘spensive). After looking at some reviews, I decided it might be a better idea to test drive the VR experience to see if it was even something worth investing in. Not only did we find a fun new way to hang out, we had a blast test driving our beginner stage VR skills.
