Have you been to Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth? It houses some of the best local spots for foodies in the area. One of our newer favorite frequented spots is a place called Fixture. It’s located Near Southside and has a kick back vibe that is inviting to all. 

We recently introduced some foodie friends to the eclectic kitchen and social lounge and they have nothing but great things to say about it as well. Pictured above (and very highly encouraged to try) is the Shrimp and Grits: Green Chili Cheese Grits, Sautéed Gulf Shrimp, Micro Cilantro Salad, and Pico de Gallo.

Another mouth watering favorite of ours is the Chicken and Waffles. My father-in-law told us about it and it did not disappoint! They use a juicy chicken thigh with beautifully seasoned spices. Then they put their own spin on the waffle by adding a hint of rosemary.

Does it say something that I have spent more time talking about the Chicken and Waffles than the Shrimp and Grits lol? Both wonderful dishes housed in a great location!
