Hot Box Biscuit Club

I’ve always wanted to attend a pop up restaurant. I see them in movies and modern tv shows but I can never figure out where the heck these places actually exist! Well thanks to awesome chefs like Sarah and Matt that managed several successful pop ups I now have access to a local foodie first for me. Continue reading “Hot Box Biscuit Club”

Officially A Mom

It has finally hit me…I’m a mom!

Even though we’ve had our daughter for 7 weeks, up until this point it’s been an awkward getting to know you phase. When we brought her home from the birthing center, it was just so surreal. I knew she came out of me but I just still couldn’t believe she was actually out of me. One minute she’s tucked away safe in my belly, the next she’s screaming and crying bloody murder as she is being wrapped like a burrito in swaddling cloths. Continue reading “Officially A Mom”

Maternity Swimsuit Hack

I love swimming! It’s cooling, refreshing, just an all out relaxing time. During the summer I usually hit up the store to struggle through try on after try on of swimwear. Believe it or not, I’m actually more of a modest person when it comes to my swim gear. I don’t like to show a lot of skin so there’s an extra challenge when it comes to carrying a baby and trying to find a swimsuit. There are several problems when one is in full belly mode and wants to find a decent bathing suit. The Bees Nursery

One of the fun things about prepping for a kid is coming up with a nursery theme. I must admit, I already know I’m not a traditional style mom; mostly because I’m not a traditional style person. I don’t like a lot of fluff and I knew I wanted our daughters room to resemble bold color, mod design, and minimalist tastes rather than some of the nurseries I have seen (not that that’s bad, I just like different style).  Continue reading “The Bees Nursery”

Officially 8 Months Pregnant

1H7A8152.jpg

In my 8th month of pregnancy I just wanted to share a piece of real life from our growing little family. On a sunny Sunday afternoon Brandy J. of Brandy J. Art & Images came to our house to capture me and hubby in our full blown lax maternity element. Continue reading “Officially 8 Months Pregnant”

Poshiquette: Etiquette For Dealing On Posh

Oh this post has been a loooong time coming. I LOVE Poshing. Nothing brings me more pleasure than to sit down with a warm cup of tea and chill on my phone Poshing away.

However, on several occasions, I have started to notice the larger my audience, the more challenges I face when just dealing with people whether buyers or sellers. Since no one in particular asked the question: “Hey Kim, what are some things I want to avoid while being on Posh?”.  I’ve decided to ask and answer of my own merit lol!!! Let’s jump right in! Continue reading “Poshiquette: Etiquette For Dealing On Posh”

Louis Vuitton: Petit Noé

I want to cue you in on something, no one ever needs more than three (that’s right three) handbags. The classic tote, cross-body, and clutch work just fine. Now ask me why I decided to get a Vintage Louis Vuitton Petit Noé Bucket Bag and I’ll say this doesn’t count because it’s a want, not a need 😜. Continue reading “Louis Vuitton: Petit Noé”

Let’s Talk 50K

A lot went down while I was out on Poshmark. Behind the scenes I was mostly filling my days with sleeping, eating, and dealing with constant nauseousness from being in the first trimester of pregnancy. I tried my hardest not to let too much time get in between me and one of my favorite things to do, but even so, I just wasn’t able to hang on all the time. Continue reading “Let’s Talk 50K”

Pearl Street Station Cajun and BBQ Eatery

In the times I’ve eaten “hole in the wall” food, why is it that Gas Station restaurants tend to serve good food? Seems to go against nature to me. Pearl Street Station is a Gas Station that’s just one of those restaurants. It’s currently situated in the cozy town square of an ever growing Granbury Texas. Si Na Ca Studios: A Hot Date For Two

So while I was out, date nights with the hubs certainly didn’t stop. There was one in particular that stood out among the rest and it was at Si Na Ca Studios off Magnolia in Fort Worth. This place is a studio dedicated to glass blowing!  Continue reading “Si Na Ca Studios: A Hot Date For Two”
