I thought I had done everything right; watch the YouTubers, follow the hair gurus, experiment with different hair products…NONE 👏🏾OF 👏🏾IT 👏🏾WORKED👏🏾 So I gave up! My youngest sister is a huge Nintendo fan. She’s always had the gaming systems from handhelds to tv hook ups. One thing that is always a big deal for her is the world of Mario and one of his favorite companions, Yoshi.
For the misters birthday I always try to find something adventurous to do. This year was no different. He had been talking about buying a PlayStation VR console (so ‘spensive). After looking at some reviews, I decided it might be a better idea to test drive the VR experience to see if it was even something worth investing in. Not only did we find a fun new way to hang out, we had a blast test driving our beginner stage VR skills.
Hubs and I are always looking for local adventure. Sometimes we find cool stuff in funky town, but this time we found a fun interactive art exhibit in Dallas that was for real out of this world!

When I think of vacation, I think of blue skies, a nice sandy beach, warm ocean water, and of course this year for our first family vacation, I had thoughts of us being in optimal health to enjoy all that lovely weather.
Well…(and I’m sure it won’t look like it from all the following pictures) the last thing on my mind was being sick on vacation, but that’s exactly what happened. Our first family vacation and it was full of runny noses, sneezing, coughing, sore throats, and basically fighting to enjoy all the good that comes with taking a much needed break.
I’m not talking about just myself. We were all sick wit’ it. However, we still managed to have fun at the end of the day.
I thought I wasn’t brave enough to take on a date night up in the sky. I should have known better…of course I am!

Life is different…not bad, just very different. For the last few months I’ve been a recluse to our home and our family. I feel great about it. I’m just really enjoying discovering mommy-hood and all of its detailed joys.
I’ve always wanted to attend a pop up restaurant. I see them in movies and modern tv shows but I can never figure out where the heck these places actually exist!
