One of my first introductions to Jamaican style flavors was a great spot over in Dallas called Elaine’s Kitchen. They had everything from fall off the bone ox tail, curry goat, amazing jerk chicken…you name it they had it. The only small problem I had was this place was it being in Dallas. I’m a Fortworthian and I am LAYYY-Z. Like when it comes to going anywhere, if I can’t find it locally, chances are I’m just not going lol!
A couple of weeks ago, I was hunting trying to find a spot for me and a friend to meet up for lunch. After searching on Yelp, I see Angie’s Bikkles pop up. Have you seen Whiplash? No? Well it’s a movie that is about a young college kid pursuing his dream of becoming a legendary percussionist (I highly recommend). At the end of the film, this kid gives the performance of his life! Totally rocks it out on his drum kit. My hubby and I love the movie so much that this weekend we were inspired to go see a drum performance by one Terry Bozzio (pictured above).
I have to accept that my life is anything but normal. I always get into the most random occurrences and mostly just because I am being myself. Well, that is how Posh ‘N Sip happened. I would like to talk about what it is, how I came to co-host one, and what I learned. 
One thing people learn about me really quickly is I am a doer. If I see something I want to try, I do it. That is no different when it comes to cooking food or mixing a fab drink like the one pictured above.
Getting out and about is easy when you like to travel. This weekend Hubby and I flew to Atlanta for my cousins wedding. Apart from the obvious intention to go down and witness this awesome union to celebrate (Whoop!! Whoop!!) we were really excited to dig into some uncharted adventure.
